Comprehensive itinerary

Day 1: Pickup and transport to Serengeti National Park.

Your guide will collect you and greet you for your five-day safari in Ngorongoro and Serengeti. Following your brief orientation, you will be transported to Serengeti National Park. You will appreciate the picturesque elevated farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, as well as the vast, undulating grasslands extending into the horizon. Serengeti National Park is home to about 4,000 lions, in addition to numerous other wildlife species.

Your safari will take place in the center region of Serengeti National Park, renowned for its high density of wildlife species, including the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos, as well as wildebeests, elands, antelopes, cheetahs, giraffes, and zebras. You will investigate attractions within the national park while observing diverse wildlife species in their natural habitat on the open savannah plains of the Serengeti, including wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, elands, warthogs, giraffes, rhinos, hyenas, antelopes, gazelles, impalas, and hartebeest, among others.

Following your morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, you will partake in lunch. Subsequently, you will embark on another game drive to seek other wildlife species and appreciate the park’s stunning landscapes. You will be transported to your resort for dinner and an overnight stay at Osinon tented camps & lodges.

Day 4: Journey to Ngorongoro Crater

Following breakfast at the lodge, you will prepare to travel from Serengeti National Park to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for further wildlife viewing opportunities on your five-day safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro. You will have lunch prior to descending 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for exceptional wildlife observation and to appreciate the stunning vistas surrounding the crater, which is known as the world’s largest inactive caldera. You will observe numerous animal species, including herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, eland, warthogs, hippos, and enormous African elephants, along with predators such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and leopards.

Lake Magadi, a substantial yet shallow alkaline lake located in the southwestern region, is one of the prominent aspects of the Ngorongoro crater that you will like visiting. Numerous flamingos, hippos, and several bird species can be observed along the beaches of Lake Magadi on a safari. You will subsequently be transported back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Hhando Coffee Lodge.

Day 5: Transfer to Arusha

On the final day of the 5 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Wildlife safari, you will partake in an early breakfast at your lodge before checking out. Upon checking out of your lodge, you will drive to Arusha, where your guide will deposit you at your chosen destination, signifying the conclusion of your safari.
